Innovation into medicines

BioXell’s development program is based on three separate technological platforms.

The VD3 platform, at the core of BioXell’s expertise in urology and inflammation since the spin off from Roche, has yielded a lead product candidate, Elocalcitol, in clinical development for three urological indications, and a second product candidate, BXL746, to enter Phase IIa trials in post-surgical adhesions in 2008.

MNAC13, in-licensed from Lay Line Genomics, is a fully humanized antibody against TrkA which has the potential to become a novel and promising approach to treating pain.

The TREM platform, based on a discovery by a member of BioXell’s Scientific Advisory Board, is composed of a novel family of receptors with a key role in several inflammatory conditions.
