Development pipeline

 

Our most advanced product candidate, Elocalcitol, is the first VD3 analogue to be tested for the treatment of urological disorders and is currently in clinical development for three major indications, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (Phase IIb trial completed), Overactive Bladder (Phase IIb trial underway) and male infertility (Phase II trial underway).

BXL746 , another VD3 analogue, will be entering Phase IIa trials in post-surgical adhesions in H2 2008.

MNAC13 is currently in preclinical development as a new approach to the treatment of pain, with entry into humans expected in 2009.

TREM-1, in preclinical development for the treatment of sepsis, has also been found on the basis of recent evidence to be an attractive therapeutic target for new indications such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

BXL093 is a VD3 preclinical candidate for the treatment of osteoporosis. Following the selection of this compound in collaboration with ProSkelia (Galapagos), BioXell is now seeking a development and commercialization partner.
